We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, an innovative and forward-thinking mindset, and a passion for driving impactful initiatives within the SAP ecosystem. You will be part of an agile, international team, designing and developing scalable integrations, automations, and applications that seamlessly connect SAP and non-SAP systems across cloud and hybrid environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Key Responsibilities Application Development: Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot within the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Kyma environments.
BTP Ecosystem Management: Build and manage BTP-native applications.
CI/CD & DevOps: Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines specifically for BTP (using SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery or Project "Piper").
Security & Identity: Implement authentication and authorization flows using XSUAA and SAP Cloud Identity Services.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

SAP BTP: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma).
Java: Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud).
CI/CD: Proven experience setting up automated build and deployment processes for BTP apps.
API & Integration: Expertise in RESTful API design and OData services.

Nice-to-Have Skills

SAP certifications related to SAP BTP.
Experience with SAP Build Apps (Low-code/No-code) or SAP Work Zone.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, SAP Kyma).
Experience with non-SAP integration platforms.
