Principal AI Automation Engineer/SAP

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, an innovative and forward-thinking mindset, and a passion for driving impactful initiatives.

You will be part of an agile team that bridges the gap between business bottlenecks and technical execution by designing, building, and deploying AI-powered workflows. Your goal will be to eliminate repetitive human intervention and maximize operational throughput.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve modern AI-powered iPaaS platforms using the latest LLM coding models.

• Develop and maintain agents built on leading modern AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Open Code) or in dedicated AI multi-agent applications.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and supporting tooling in Python, Bash, or other programming languages.

• Design and implement end-to-end automated workflows that orchestrate tasks across multiple enterprise systems.

• Act as a technical expert, ensuring quality and continuous AI generation process improvement from initial analysis through to deployment and ongoing ownership.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, product owners, and software engineers to define and deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Adherence to best practices, ensuring technical integrity, high delivery quality and long-term maintainability of solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Promote AI usage and practices in the team with honest skepticism. Driving the adoption and usage of the AI-powered iPaaS; demonstrate empathy to stakeholders and provide continuous support to users by hosting workshops and presentations, drafting playbooks, or creating learning materials.

• Partner with project management to identify bottlenecks and cost offenders based on data, while expanding the project usage and functionalities based on the needs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Proven track record of architecting, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade production systems as a senior, lead, or principal developer

• Strong understanding of the complete software development process of production systems, at best of integrations between cloud applications

• Strong proficiency in backend software development with any language

• Strong experience with at least one of the modern AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Open Code), including sub-agents, skills, and multi-agentic workflows.

• Strong knowledge of configurations and guardrails of AI agents to avoid hallucinations and optimize token usage

• Knowledge and professional experience with Python 

• Knowledge and experience building AI agents in at least one modern agentic framework or SDK (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Microsoft Agentic Framework, Claude Agent SDK, etc.).

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for innovation, automation, and delivering high-quality software.

• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, including expertise with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search optimization

• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).

• Experience with FastAPI backend framework

• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

• Familiarity or experience with Java

• Experience with relational and non-relational database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes).
