IT Systems Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers and other office devices.

Maintain inventory of IT assets, ensure proper documentation, tagging and compliance with internal policies.

Monitor and maintain local office network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls).

Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate to vendors or ISPs when needed.

Enforce security policies and practices in line with ISO 27001, TISAX and other applicable standards.

Manage user access, roles and permissions for internal systems and tools, participate in IT onboarding/offboarding process.

Coordinate software patching, endpoint protection and vulnerability mitigation.

Assist with the implementation and support of security solutions (e.g., VPNs, MFA, device encryption).

Administer and support business-critical applications (Google Workspace, VPNs, password managers, productivity tools).

Assist users with technical issues, troubleshooting and configuration requests.

Maintain documentation for application usage, IT procedures and user guides.

Provide operational support for cloud-based services (GCP, AWS, Azure, hosted environments).

Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on integration and access.

Coordinate with distributed IT team across company locations.

Support internal IT projects and initiatives, including automation and process improvement.

Work with vendors and service providers when needed.

Participate in audits, internal assessments and compliance reviews.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technology discipline.

3+ years (Regular) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience as a System Administrator, IT Specialist, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of IT hardware lifecycle management (laptops, monitors, office devices), asset inventory, documentation, and compliance.

Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls), troubleshooting connectivity issues, and coordinating with vendors.

Solid skills in identity and access management, user provisioning, and enforcing security practices in line with ISO 27001, TISAX, or similar standards.

Practical experience with endpoint management (patching, antivirus/EDR, MFA, device encryption).

Experience supporting collaboration environments (Google Workspace, MS 365).

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ability to work with engineering/DevOps teams on integrations and access.

Experience in incident response and user support, including documentation of procedures, onboarding/offboarding, and knowledge sharing.

Understanding of compliance, audits, and cost optimization in IT operations.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a distributed team.

(Senior-level) Lead or mentor junior team members, drive process improvements, and contribute to automation initiatives.

(Senior-level) Play an active role in IT security and compliance projects, audits, and vendor management

Security and cloud certifications are advantageous.
