The role in a nutshell:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes to join our DevOps team. You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-native applications. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to optimize our software development lifecycle and enhance system reliability and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain and Improve CI/CD Pipelines: Work with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Infrastructure Management: Provision and configure Azure infrastructure components, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Machines, Networking, and Storage.

  • Kubernetes Operations: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on AKS clusters.

  • Infrastructure as Code: Utilize tools like Terraform or Bicep to manage and update infrastructure templates.

  • System Monitoring: Monitor performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure high availability of applications in the Azure environment.

  • Automation: Develop and update scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate repetitive operational tasks.

  • Security Implementation: Apply security best practices across Azure environments and Kubernetes clusters.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with development teams to support cloud-native deployments and operational efficiency.

  • Support: Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a DevOps or System Administration role.

  • Azure Knowledge: Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, specifically AKS.

  • Containerization: Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.

  • CI/CD Tools: Experience managing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).

  • IaC Skills: Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform or ARM templates).

  • Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

  • Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Networking & Git: Good understanding of cloud networking concepts and Git version control.

  • Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in English.

  • Education: BS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.

  • Experience with container registries (e.g., Azure Container Registry, Docker Hub).

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

Culture & Development:

  • Friendly Environment: We take pride in our culture, and we love spending time together.

  • Team Spirit: Be part of a supportive team that uplifts each other.

  • Mentorship and coaching. Our colleagues are experts in their field, and you can expect to have a strong team to rely on.

  • Personalized Development Program: We realize one size doesn’t fit all, so you get an individual development plan tailored specifically to your career aspirations.

Social Benefits:

  • A Suite of Perks: Additional health insurance, referral bonus, and more.

  • Work Flexibility: Embrace flexible working hours and a hybrid work model.

  • Multiple Office Locations: in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Nis, you choose where you would like to work.
