We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS to join our expanding DevOps team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Building and upscaling cloud and hosted infrastructure
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Ensuring that systems follow best industry standards and practices for performance and security
Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs
Participates in architecture and software development activities
Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Kubernetes Expertise:

Deep understanding of Kubernetes
Knowledge of RBAC, authentication, admission controllers, and resource scheduling is a plus.
Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI, Ingress, Load Balancers).
Experience with Kubernetes autoscalers.

Cloud:

AWS deep understanding (mandatory)
Azure/GCP is good to have
Knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, and storage systems.

Software Development:

Strong Go (Golang) programming skills (optional).
Python
Shell scripting (mandatory)
Deep Terraform/OpenTofu knowledge (mandatory)

Infrastructure & DevOps Knowledge:

Strong background in Linux-based environments and debugging.
Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes deployment pipelines is a plus.
Knowledge of etcd, leader election, and distributed systems concepts is a plus.

Nice to have:

AWS certification
CKA and or CKS (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer).
CNCF certifications such as KCNA, CCA (Kubernetes, cloud-native development).
Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects or building operators, controllers or CRDs is a plus.
